This is true, but there is a reason it is destructive and if you continue to autopilot, you will not continue to win if you are just decent.

Well, when looking at poker at a macro prospective, your thought process is well below average.

It means that most peoples overall goal in poker is to learn the game, make money, get better, move up. MDoran's focus has been to learn the game, make money, get better (??), move down.

Give him some credit though, he's only moved down one level since I played with him at NL50 like 2 years ago...

A macro perspective is viewing poker and all of its components as one. So online, live, micro, nosebleeds, cash, MTTs, etc. all are individual parts to the whole poker world.

Re: *** Official March uBBV thread nsfw ***

I join a table and see a guy that 3bets and gets a caller. He cbets Axx board and call a shove to lose against AK (dont have HH).

So the game continues and he seems to be a monkey that is 3betting and stealing pots left right and centre.

And then this hand happens.

UTG: $27.60
Hero (MP): $25.00
CO: $5.20
BTN: $25.00
SB: $85.55
BB: $24.20

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is MP with J A
1 fold, Hero raises to $1, 2 folds, SB raises to $3.25, 1 fold, Hero calls $2.25

Flop: ($6.75) 6 J 6 (2 players)
SB bets $5.25, Hero calls $5.25

Turn: ($17.25) 4 (2 players)
SB bets $17.25, Hero calls $16.50 all in

River: ($50.25) 2 (2 players - 1 is all in)

Final Pot: $50.25
Hero shows J A
SB shows A K
Hero wins $47.80
