Happy to report that I've only noticed myself tilt maybe 2 or 3 instances in the last month (well little over 30 days). Disappointed in lack of volume, however booked probably my winningest month ever . Running well in general, but playing pretty good too. 22 winning sessions compared to 10 losing sessions in the time frame.

Most success has come at plo. I'm +6BI at hold em over this time (though I did run 2-3 BI under ev) in a roughly equal frame of hands. I think the biggest reason for my wins have been tilt control, which has been helped by generally running really well. I have a lot of work to do on my holdem game, but I have been shot taking at 50 (which helps me calm down and play a more solid ABC poker game due to higher stakes) with OK results. Made some bad plays and been rewarded there, but also got it in 55%+ a handful of times and lost.

February:

March:

that nice run at end of february started on the 21st last month when I finally started to "get it" combined with a sweet boomswitch. Missing a few thousand hands off my laptop here, but still lookin good.

LOL @ march volume like I said, but when I've constantly destroyed my expectations I haven't been as hungry to play, but when I do play I've been considerably focused.

Anyway a little premature for end of month graph thread but I'll probably take the rest of the month off (or have a few small sessions)

I live in the West London area, but I'm a live virgin, which is a huge beat. I'm looking to snap my hymen soon though for sure, Empire I expect. Can you recommend the best cardroom in London? Travel ain't an issue obviously.

Not a fan of live poker ?
03-26-2010 , 08:51 AM
live poker is excruciatingly slow (yet joyfully easy) if you're primarily an online player. I recommend bringing a portable video game or something.

Its a nice little relax, where you just play your hand face up. Dont bother bluffing just shove when you have the toppest of pairs.

calling is beyond awful... the range you gave him is terrible too

also live poker is the most boring thing known to man... i can last like an hour tops before i realize what a terrible mistake ive made by playing and then proceed to get drunk and hit up the pit... way more fun if you ask me

not to mention at every 1/2nl live table ive been at its full of table coaches who have absolutely no idea what they are talking about, people telling their fake and ******ed bad beat stories, and people talking about how online poker is zomg rigged
