waste of time if you ask me... i have all the regs color coded anyway... i just find the tables without too many regs on it filtered from highest avg pot to lowest

Just start your own tables, its way better than joining waitlists.

ya I just sort by highest VPIP and get on the waitlists/join the open tables. my requirements are basically having at least one fish on the table and no 3bet monkeys on my left.

I do this sometimes. just hate when I do it at 100nl, fish sits on my direct left, and the table snap-fills with 4 regs.

some 10plo on tilt? me and qazikm2000 are on a table. i can lend people a few bucks if needed
03-18-2010 , 11:57 PM
Don't we want position on the reg rather than the fish? because we can value bet the same and he's never really using position to his advantage.

no. we can take advantage of having position on the fish far more profitably than we can with position on the reg.

i.e. regs don't play as many pots oop without initiative. fish do because they limp call and they flat 3bets oop

But regs can't open loosely to play with the fish because we are in between, plus we get him in the blinds.

Really it doesn't matter because we will use position to maximize EV either way right?

Anyone in here play Spades? We need to put together a uNL spades game on yahoo or something.

I explained earlier that I find myself profitable at most tables that have at least one fish regardless of their position.

Just that when you have position on the fish, you are choosing the hands you want to isolate them with when they limp or raise.

When they are on your left, you have to open a slightly tighter range since they are now choosing which hands to play against you and only 1/6th of the time will you be playing those hands in position.

Now we are thinking 7 game, it will be quite the meta war given all the different games lol

Nicely done

i love me some spades... used to be a lot better when me and my friends played every day during class in high school haha

also its much better to be in position against the fish and not the regs... there are 4 other regs on the table so you will be out of position against most of them regardless
03-19-2010 , 01:12 AM
before poker i used to be ranked pretty high on Yahoo Spades. 600 something or other. Took it way too seriously though and you cant even make money while you own people. Poker came along and i stopped playing.
03-19-2010 , 01:14 AM
didnt know they had microlimit spades
03-19-2010 , 01:15 AM
