I have no interest in poker.
Can honestly say 25nl is the most boring, tedious, nitty, pathetic game i have ever played in.
6max is not only dull and uniteresting but is also full of nit regs who run around in unl posting mindless drivel and then sit at the tables devoid of any life with no interest in doing anything but 3bet AK/AA/KK/QQ and then panic there little socks off when they face a 4bet. In the unlikely event someone actually stacks off preflop with QQ then you can be assured they run over to 2p2 faster than lightening to check with other nits if it's a cooler. What happened to people throwing around money and chomping on burritos swilled back with bud light (lolamericans).

I find it depressing that someone like Mdorand hasn't moved higher than 25nl/50nl (this isn't a dig or anything fwiw I think Mdorand is clearly a more solid player than the majority of the regs itt and I'm not here to measure my dick and belittle people like other morons). My point is if a talented player like him can't make it out of uNL then what chance does someone like me who has zero grind ethic, little poker ability and the mindset of an 8 year old have in ever making decent money.
I'm sure if I worked really, really hard I could reach 100nl and make ok money but to be brutally honest I would find it neither fun nor rewarding. I think the 2p2 is awesome and would like to say ta to everyone itt even people who think I'm an annoying little **** and I'm sure that's close to 90% of you.
Anyway I'm not quitting! Not yet! Just wanted to air some frustrations. I have 3 weeks off of uni now so will probably look at putting my time into a new project (poker related...sigh). I will be back at the tables soon enough no doubt through boredom or a hopefully a new found ambition. Good luck to all of you in making it out of unl and to those of you already out, keep climbing. To ksight, give up now! Let's be honest it's just not working out is it?
Sorry for the ramble. gg poker.
Spraggy, not going to give you the long story, but I'm gonna cut it short.
About 1 month ago I was probably feeling exactly the same way as you are feeling now. Went on a holiday and didn't touch my pc or thought about poker for a week. After that week, when I thought back about my mindstate I knew that I was tilted so badly for every second I played poker.
Before the holiday when I started to play a session, I thought I was going to play solid and that I wasn't tilted at all. But after the holiday it came to me that I was very tilted and expecting failure before I even started, point being that I didn't know OR feel that I was on tilt and you are probably having the same thing.
Try to answer this for yourself before you start to play a new session
1. are you on tilt?
2. ARE YOU ON TILT?
3. if not, is one bad beat going to tilt you?
You are probably currently playing very badly because of it, not everything but if you are calling in a bad spot thinking, "he really can't have me beat again" or something in the nature of those thoughts that make you take bad decisions you are probably on tilt and not aware you are on tilt.
Take a break away from the table, clear your mind, come back with a new mindset and think about the things you were thinking before your break and how different it is vs your mindset now.
Not talking about 2 days here.
