Don't try to bluff randoms off strong top pairs (or sets or fullhouses or whatever, just because there might be a flush possible you could represent or a bigger FH)... never a good idea without a very very strong read.

I'd prefer checkraising turn and shoving river then as a bluff. People hardly ever fold to checkraises on the river... Don't really know why tbh.

Did you just come up with the idea of bluffing on the river after he 3 barrells, because you put him on AQ+? You don't need to win every hand (and don't need to own everyone) and I think bluffing here is -ev because he folds less often here than to a CR turn shove river line... So plan on bluffing ahead :P

why is a reg min aising UTG? TBH I doubt he bets that small and then folds to a c/r. He'll never give you credit for a set cos they are hard to hit and maybe not even for 2p cos you will sometimes be c/r the turn with them. Also nobody folds top pair. ever. If heas AK/AQ he will level himslf into a call because he will feel his small bet induced something.

check/raising the turn is dumb with a set against a reg imo (on this board)

Well if you think he's folding to your river checkraise then obviously you can try and bluff him off there.

But if you CR for value in the same spot, do you only do that because you think he bets often enough or because he will call you lighter?

Don't worry about being balanced in these spots... think about what line will get more calls, or in this case, folds.

probably a misclick... youve never tried to click the slider bar to raise to 3x and then hit raise before you realize that you missed the bar and are now minraising?

possibly but that is the best hands he folds and sometimes calls, and you have decent SD value and good odds so i dont know y u would want to turn ur hand into a bluff.


Basically he will fold those combos of those hands and snap call with so many others combos that beat u so it's not worth it. Math wise
