I went to Outback maybe 15 years ago with my mom and dad and thought the food was horrible. But it is my dad's favorite restaurant, so I recently took him there for his birthday, and the food was actually quite good.

So I'm pretty sure this is not a beat, except to the extent that you are spending a coupe of buy ins rather than stacking Friday night fishies.

I think the Outback is pretty good. Although if I eat any part of the Bloomin' Onion, I would caution anyone from being within 10 yards of me for up to 2 hours later.
