I showed the durrrr video to my wife and she laughed quite a bit. Then I showed her the Tilly video and I had to explain to her why Tilly's play was SO BAD. It took quite a while before she really got it, LOL.

I hear different kind of stuf about this. What's the truth?
Has the rake gone up or has it not?
how does it effect rakeback?

I'm playing only NL from now on

Edit: Need to figure out why I run so much better at PL. My red line is level in PL but going down to the basement at NL.

May be a semantics thing, but they didn't raise the rake % it's still 5%, but they did change when they started collecting rake from the pot. Instead of taking .05 when the pot reaches $1.00, they are now raking .01 every .20. Still no flop no drop. With rakeback you still make out much better than at Stars if you aren't SN. Honestly how many Supernova's are playing NL25? You do see that this will also cause your rakeback to be slightly better as well right? Not enough to even out the effects of the new rake structure but it does help a bit.

So it's important:
- You multi-table 12+ at starts (otherwise no SN) vs Rakeback FTP capable of playing less tables
- Playing 25nl VS 50

??

my sentiments exactly. he showed KJo (cuz rly, only quads and quads made sense given i dont think JJ/QQ ever 3ball here). and got a lil upset with me.

I quickly informed him that i am an expert button pusher and i also sip syrup. no further comments were exchanged

great read, He was right that he could only win by betting, but his range is so narrow there it doesn't make sense. I just don't know what he thought you were folding there. If a good player calls the turn, he should be calling that river.

I think my problem is that I wouldn't 3 barrell air here. Your line looks like you are not going away.

Just 150 hands into my session this afternoon I had to quit because I went on tilt after this hand.

On the flop, I thought UTG had CO covered, so I though it was going all-in. Then on the turn i had a brain aneurysm. *sigh*

So my volume has dropped way off and I was low volume to begin with.

I have become really interested in creating an internet business and I'm a total noob when it comes to most of the knowledge I need. Should have done computer systems engineering instead of chemical stuff haha. I'm spending most of my free time on this but it is still very much a goal of mine to advance my poker skills. Still working on 25 NL at the moment and I feel I have improved my game in the past few months (I can attribute that to this forum, Split and Stox - thanks!!!) I don't want to lose momentum. How do some of you part time players deal with this? Set grinding schedule, or just hand goals etc??
02-25-2009 , 05:53 PM
Well, my first problem with HEM, HUD doesn't seem to want to work anymore

keep saying "importing inatializing"

**** off, I want to grind
02-25-2009 , 06:08 PM
somebody had this problem?

HEM just says there is nothing to monitor

I know there is
