I think I need to go ahead and get a nice 24" monitor to plug into it, what do you guys think?

Ya I think I'm going to, I just spent about $800 on the laptop, so I was trying to be a nit and not spend another $300-$400 on a monitor but I really want it.

You should be able to snake a monitor for under $400 for sure.

Probably because we have two (or three if you count the FTP Regs Thread, but I don't since we don't chat much there) chat threads and pretty much a lot of the Stars people have decided to stick to themselves. The original reason for those other threads were to discuss REG Villians at different sites. Swap stats for them, and discuss playing against them. Now mostly its just more chat.

People try so hard to bring the world together, yet we always find ways to segment ourselves.

So I thought about moving $1k over to Stars to get the 25% bonus and found out it's totally not worth it if you have RB on FT. In order to clear the $250 bonus amount you'd need to earn 5000 VPPs. You pay ~$850 in rake to make those. 27% of that is ~$230. If you add in fees and the additional effort to move money around ...

OMG, this is so sick.

I just bought a Samsung 22" screen, SyncMaster2232bw, and the only way I can get the stupid thing to work is pressing f8 when the pc starts and running windows XP in VGA mode. Then if I try to increase the resolution the freaking thing just blacks out and starts to show the "analog / digital" little box on the left corner. It changes from analog to digital like ten times and then the monitor goes into stand by mode and nothing appears. I installed the stupid drivers and everything.

WTF!

Nah, not having played on Stars since October and as a low volume player I'm not sure how the games compare atm. You should be able to find "suitable" tables on both sites though, so I guess it would hardly make a difference in winrate if at all.

Well, at least it wouldn't make a difference for me because I already crush 50NL for the max.

The only time I whine is when other people whine too much.

Ever look at a normal word and it looks really strange and foreign (like questioning if it is even a word) for some reason? That just happened to me and "whine".
