congrats Digger!

as for the BRM chart...i suggest being more aggro going from 10NL to 25NL, and more aggro from 25NL to 50NL

i suggest the "splitbankroll" style where at say $800 (moving from 25 to 50) we "split" our BR into 2 parts, our 25NL roll and our 50NL shotroll. so i would say $650 = my 25NL roll, and $150 (3BI) is my new 50NL shotroll. i would play 50NL only on weekends and good weedays and if i lose the 3BI, then grind again at 25NL until i have 800 again and try again. it limits loss, keeps a healthy mental, and lets u get used to the level at the same time. i would make 50NL my home when my whole roll gets to about $1100.

and for those of u who are frustrated with moving up...it took me 6 different shots to finally get up to 100NL as my home

Felt good reading this, +1000000.

I only recently got aware of how nitty i was about BR management and taking shots. I used to react very emotionally to shot taking and losing a couple of BIs was like the worst thing, this completely stagnated my evolution as a poker player. Now i see it differently and taking shots is not only about climbing a level and not falling down again. It's a process that is usually made of climbing and dropping again for various times, you'll end up learning more in 2000 hands about your leaks in the shot level then playing 20'000 hands in your home level. You speed up your learning curve by being exposed to a new environment, avoiding the learning stagnation that comes out of playing zillions of hands in the same level. Another factor to consider is how much money do you want to win. There is just no point in grinding 25-50 buyins of a level, putting up a huge number of hours, if you aint taking a wanted profit out of it. During the process of moving up, approach it aggressively, you want to speed up the process.

Anyone else here who loves stoxtrader and leatherass videos at stoxpoker?
They usually make vids of 6max, but you can still apply lots of concepts into full ring.

I am obsessed with their videos.

I haven't listened to this in years and it's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard.

Bach - Brandenburg Concerto #3, Third Movement

Agree, nice song, however this version sounds a bit too synthetic to me...

Edit: This one might be a bit fast, but I still prefer the real thing
