Re: **** Official February Brags, Beats and Variance Thread ****

He just can't fold a pair, like post players at those levels cant

If you think you made a bluf that worked, you probably weren't. You where probably value betting because villian has nothing or less then nothing
(talking in general here, not this particular hand)

that's why you should valuebet the crap at these levels and you'll crush it
Will get boring at times, but you'll grind it trough and learn how to be disciplined at the tables

It's only 2$ you lost this hand but do it 5 times and you lose a BI

Re: **** Official February Brags, Beats and Variance Thread ****

Honestly I didn't know a fish could call down 22 on that board facing a reraise. Even a fish should be folding there. I think 85% of fish would, but that person was clearly a different breed with ~90% VPIP. If 45% VPIP is fishy, that person was an uberfish to the extreme.

That hand annoyed me, but I'm pretty much raping the planet right now. First hand of the night I flopped quads. I've had quads twice since then. AA/KK like 5-6 times each, up 3 BI's so I can't complain. That hand just astonished me. 22? Ugh.

I know... I won't do it again. Only vs. regs.

Brag: Just had the best session of my LIFE. 6 tables, 3 hours, 1,156 hands.

Quads 4 times (didn't even get paid for them!)
AA 8 times.
KK 8 times.
AK 18 times.
+4 buy ins

Ran like Jesus, played like God imo. I love poker and I love 10NL. I feel so pumped right now I could run in circles or something. HOORAH!

These hands just happened basically back to back on different tables. Villain in Hand 1 is a 36/12 type of fish, Villain in hand 2 is 22/8 over 76 hands. You guys have no idea what it means to run bad. As soon as I saw top set with jacks, I was thinking "...about to lose with top set again."

Depends on if he is a bad playing aggro regulars, or know what he is doing aggro regular

I don't know how you are doing mentally Ivy, but I have the feeling maybe a little break is better then to keep playing atm

You guys have no idea what it means to run bad.
And because I really do know how it feels, I will take this a bit more lightly lol

but for real, if you are fed up with it taking a break is way better then to keep playing

Don't force yourself to grind it trough because the losing sessions only get worse if you do that, just play your A-game, if you are not playing your A-game, please stop playing
