Keys,

FWIW, I've always struggled when moving up for the first few rounds. the only time I didn't was when I moved up to 100nl, and I 1) ran really amazing for one session to get a huge bankroll boost and 2) was getting coaching. These two things helped me feel super comfortable.

Extend your BI requirements before moving up so you're more rolled to handle the downswings.

Don't play nervous. Realize that they're just like the people you've been playing against.

sweat/get sweated

play less tables

table select (telescope is legal on stars, and there are hand history services)

read the poker mindset
What is telescope?

Table selection is critical to what I do, but I can't do anything now other than continuously scout the tables I'm on.

If there's more help than that, I'd love to have it. What are hand history services?

Remember, I'm part-time at best. I've only played 50k hands since December. My job's intense, so I can't keep up with the latest technology. Right now I just have PT3 with customized HUD stats, but I've got nothing better than that.

What should I do?

Daycare is doing a software video series on Leggo. You should check it out keys.

I'd move to holdem manager rather than PT3.

google telescope stars - it's a program that accesses your db and tells you what the players at a table look like. It's a little slow, but can be a big help with table selection.

hh services will send you hand files daily. It helps with sample sizes.

check out the software forum for more.

For some reason, whenever the milestone hand hits, everyone joins the waiting list.

You should maybe ask this in the CR forums? I'm pretty sure you do, but no idea how much.

it is totally fair, not illegal AFAIK.

I just dislike the idea of datamined HHs. people will play differently against you and against me. assuming they are not ******ed donks that play the same all the time. they will adjust to your style and my style, that's why datamines give you an idea, altho can be misleading depending on your playing style for example.

Isn't any information good information?

It's not like I'm going to be continuously on the second level against these people--but as long as I can know better what the second level looks like, that's an advantage.

depends on what you'd like. for HU it's totally off. for 6m could be useful. altho you will have a huge DB also by using it. some people love it. I have used it for a month or so, but I just dislike it after putting some thought to it. You can check it out for yourself.

BTW--congrats to me. Bought a $7k engagement ring this week. Will be engaged in March.

Sick brag, imo. Keys outkicked his coverage by 60 yards.
