Anyone having trouble with HEM? I just got up and was tryin to grind since I finally feel better, and it won't connect to my DB.

imho the money doesnt matter..its the act. i put this to someone (who plays poker) but was arguing another similar situation. they had said they wouldnt tell the table, but talk to the person and ask them to fess up. i said by not saying anything and calling them out, they are as bad as the person taking the money/chips.

I think HEM uses PostgreSQL as well, i had this problem with my PT3, i updated my version of PostgreSQL, and that fixed it. food for thought.

So playing a $1 sit n go with friends, or playing a $500 cash game with people which the money mattered a lot, is the same?

I agree it should be brought up, but I think the difference is outing them on the spot, or letting it be known later.

You really have to say something immediately imo. If you take this game even remotely serious as income, I think you should protect the integrity of the game to the best of your ability.

HI brew!

brky, open pgadmin, check if postgreSQL is running, if it's not, start it. if it is, stop it then start it. this always works for me.

wrt the guy stealing from the pot, you definitely have to say something immediately imo. its a scummy thing to do, can't be tolerated, and has to be shut down immediately regardless of stakes. like fredd-bird said, it's not just about the money, it's about the integrity of the game.
