Heard an absolutely hilarious quote today.

Me and a buddy are eating breakfast while waiting to head to our next class. A buddy of my friends comes up and sits down,starts talking, etc. etc.

Apparently this friends dad is going to Kuwait sometime soon and friend D emerges. D says "dude, isn't the the capital of Kuwait Kuwait?" and sits back like he has shed some kind of light on us.

I am studying for a test so I think nothing but then friend C says "um yeah dude, not that surprising, I mean, New York, New York?!?!?" and sat back like he made friend D feel like a dumbass.

@ this point I almost burst into laughter. Was I wrong for letting this guy (and everyone else) think NYC is the capital of New York?

I got some good value here but in hindsight I might've been too passive in this hand. Was vs 18/12 reg's UTG range so I was a little bit hesitant since I had like the 4th nuts and it was 150BB stacks.

I've adapted it to suit the needs of a 19 year old at uni, so basically now i have 2 naps and one short core sleep, but it's like 6 hours total compared to 2 hours that the other one was. i think it's probs not worth the stress/annoyance of the shorter schedule u see.

You have to raise that flop winnar. You only really rep 44 as a made hand when you raise, maybe A4s, compared with all the draws and spazzy air. As played I'd overbet the river.
