Re: *** Official Fe"brew"ary Microbrew Thread ***

Brag: Just got a desk. Along with my new monitor, I'm beginning to not have the most ghetto setup ever. I wish I had taken pictures because this was my setup:

1 hand me down CPU that's decent for 2004 standards
1 15 inch monitor on top of a tray table
1 hand me down mouse on a different tray table
1 keyboard on my lap
1 lazy boy

ballllllllllllin'

Only things staying the same aorn are the mouse and the cpu

Re: *** Official Fe"brew"ary Microbrew Thread ***

My setup is pretty ghetto at the moment as well.

-Our apartment furnished desk
-Ridiculously outdated and slow 2005 Dell laptop
-19" LCD TV with max resolution of 1024X768
-Crappy chair I've had since Christmas of like '04 or '05

I can't wait for my desktop monitor to arrive from repair in the mail this week so I can 20 table without having to worry about PokerStars crashing.

Also, nothing against lazy boys and/or people that grind in them in general because they ****ing rock but I could never see myself being able to lay back in one and grind.

Maybe that's just because I'm an uptight, must-know-all type of person but being so far back from the action just seems weird.

Although I have a feeling that grinding in one is MUCH more conducive to longer sessions.

Having an orgasm thinking about a 30" monitor and 24-tabling in one as we speak. I'd grind for 10 hours straight!

Bigac, if you want to turn into a $100 NL version of Wakeboarrder at $200 NL, then by all means go ahead. Just realize that people do know how many tables you're playing and won't hesitate to sit on a few with you at once to take advantage of the lack of concentration/duration of sessions. I do it to Wake every now and then lol.

So, would somebody be kind enough to give me a rundown of the differences between 10NL and 25NL? Because 10NL was easy even with FT's double rake, and 25NL is kicking my ass.

i don't think he's too worried about being exploited by 100nl FR regs. pretty much all of them are playing 24 tables too and breakeven or worse. im sure if some 200/400nl regs want to drop down with the express purpose of ****ing with him, then maybe he has some concerns, but since he hasn't even prop bet on this thing i don't think he's going to have to worry about outside interference.
