I'm an english major and had to write a review about a musical performance that I didn't go to...so I just wrote about how great the music was and how certain songs were soothing and how it was overall a great performance...I would just talk about how there was a variation of art work on display...some of the art work was more popular and easier to understand while other pieces were a little more abstract which caused you to open your mind and forced you to look at the piece from a different perspective...overall it was a truly breath taking display of natural talent and imagination fused together with different colors and images that exploded on to canvas, making it a real treat for everyone that was in attendance.

thing is im writing it as a 'news story' and not like a personal review.

idk what angle im gonna take on it, probably just something real generic like '(my colleges) artistic side came out Friday night as the arts club sponsored an art exhibit' and go from there.

i need a few quotes too but i can just use my roommates names

Dear Brewsters,

I need your help and ideas. Might move this to BBV - but I don't like those guys, so I prefer to ask you guys, as I actually care about ideas and opinions here (sometimes ).
So I am planning out my grind in march. goal is 100k VPP which is gonna be really hard as I did some calculations, but gonna shoot for the sky.
Gonna play 26 days only as Sundays are impossible to grind on, because of the LAG. That way I have to play around 12k hands a day, which will be a grind, but I wanna challenge myself to do it.

ideas about things I should get before I start, so I save time in the process?
- I already have a to do list of getting a monhtly supply of drink of choice
- Food (weekly shopping, and monthly supply of almonds, nuts, etc...)
- tell my flatmate if he invites his gf over I will kill both of them, cuz I can't allow myself to tilt.
....

ideas?

ps. there is no propbet involved as if fatigue gets such that it is affecting my play in such way that I am not playing well (not talking about running bad, but about playing bad) then I won't force myself into winning a stupid bet.

Last edited by bigacsiga; 02-24-2009 at 08:29 PM. Reason: no idea how will I play, like when will I have breaks or anything... just gonna sit down and play

having your food and all your business already taken care of like that should help you a lot. i'd find an internet radio station like, cuz you're gonna get reallllll bored after about 2 days.

got two of those I use for the grind. both have real DJs and remix songs, so even if you get the same song it's a diff remix so doesn't get monotone.

how many hours a day does that come out to?
02-24-2009 , 08:42 PM
talk radio or comedy is ok every once in a while when you just get sick of any music at all too
02-24-2009 , 08:43 PM
9 tables of 6 max is about 1k hands an hour. not sure about fr, but its slower.
02-24-2009 , 08:44 PM
I'd guess like 6

FR I run at 1450/hour roughly depending how many fast tables can I get on, and what day it is...
6m is about 1800hands/hour

Does anyone play the same with music/talk radio? I feel like it would probably help my volume but lower my hourly because I'd be more tempted to autopilot
