The ****ed up thing about tournaments is that unless you win, you can still hit a sick score and then all you're going to be thinking about is the last hand. With cash games, you can win or lose like 5 bi and not give a **** 10 minutes later.

More than 5 bi I start giving ****s.

are you telling me you've ever not won a tournament and then not been bummed at all when you busted?

I've finished 2nd or 3rd a bunch of times and each time I felt disappointed at first, then in like 24 hours elated.

I just think its a completely different feeling than cash games, which is why you have to be ****ed in the head to be a MTT pro

Honestly, I think you run so hot that you're functionally ******ed because of it

I have about a half dozen sessions every week where I'm -2bi below EV, and at least 3bi downswings every day for the last week, and I'm reasonably sure your edge isn't that much bigger than mine that 2bi isn't anything but extremely minor variance

feels good to get my groove back and to be winning again...
