PJo has spring break a week after most of us.

I probably am coming, Lori's dad is still really protective, so I don't really see him letting her go to Canada with just me for 3-4 nights.

Ah well, either way spring break is going to be a blast.

Oh, and I'm on travel to Yuma, Arizona, where I play at this little indian casino that only runs NL once a week (Wednesdays, of all nights). Fortunately it's $2/5 NL, and they're god awful.

I show up this time, and they have opened a new casino, with a much much bigger poker room and they're running NL every night. First thought: "friggin' awesome... now i have something to do every night."

I go last night. They have $1/2 NL running. Boo. I now come to my 2nd thought: "Everyone that wanted to play 1/2 NL but couldn't 'cause all they ran was 2/5 is now going to play 1/2. FML."

But hey! An interest list for a 2/5 game, and it's 13 people long. Sounds like plenty to get a game running. They won't run it, 'cause 5 of the people on the list are already on other tables. I try telling them that, by running the 2/5 and standing those people up, other people waiting (and there are bunches) will be able to play in them, and they get the rake of the 2/5 game. Obv. no avail.

I wait 3 hours. Get a seat at $1/2 NL. Finish +$100 after running like dirt.

... am I sadistic that I called today to see if a game was running, and nearly went again?

Oh, and drinks aren't free there. Seriously WTF.
