At the very least the poker gods were kind enough to do a decent job of making sure that the actual run of cards lined up with my advice as opposed to actively contradicting it. It's hard enough to explain why you can't open with 86s UTG to an inexperienced player under the best of circumstances, let alone when the draws keep hitting every time they fold it.
