I run the best out of anyone at 50NL imo, I'm 30 bi above EV over 150k hands.

But I run bad at 100NL, 16 bi below EV over 21k hands.

im never going to download/install HEM, the EV graph is all i would focus on
02-20-2009 , 05:41 AM
Which cancels out, conveniently.

But if it was the other way around, I would have stuck to 100NL and not developed a psychological fear of it. imo.

The news is pretty interesting sometimes.

On NBC they have EARLY TODAY on now at 4:30 am. First they showed a cool clip of a Volcano continuing to get more violent in Chile and then they said scientists just recorded the largest/most bright? gamma rays ever when a star exploded after running out of fuel OVER 12.4 BILLION LIGHT YEARS AWAY... it's just astronomical numbers like these that make you wonder how big our universe actually is.

Hit 200NL and you'll run above EV ldo.

tbh, while it can be tempting to focus on, I've found it comforting when you're running bad moving up. It helps you to stay confident and stick it out, rather than thinking you just aren't good enough for the new level.

The key is not to let it excuse actual leaks in your game.

omg genius, I'd never thought of this!

you're onto a money making scheme

But what about 400NL? Skip it all together?

I must tell the world that I've played the first tourney I've played in months, and I've just about reached the final table out of over 3,000 players.

But fml. It's a $2 donkfest. There goes all my luck for SCOOP.

What's interesting is that a star 12.4 billion light years away that scientists just recorded exploding actually exploded 12.4 Billion years ago, near the start of the universe.

You know how if you can look far enough u might be able to see the start of the universe? Well what if it wasn't where you are looking and it was actually like where the earth is, then we would never see it amirite?

You will begin to learn that HEM does have a glitch dealing with all in situations in multi way pots (especially with shorties... let me see if I can show you a prime example some where around here...

Ok... found it...

Review this hand history and tell me how in the world HEM calculated my EV to be at -$600 this hand?? I had the best hand against the other big stack and shorty on the flop, got sucked out technically by the shorty on the turn when he was already all in, and still managed to stack the other big stacked dude..(A3 lol wtf?)

Isn't 12.4 billion light years away and 12.4 billion years ago the same thing? Last time I checked I think it was ..

You could just as well say that a dog pooped 12.4 billion turtle years away, it still means a dog pooped 12.4 billion years ago lol

Yeah, theories like this kinda freak me out about the expanse of our universe, because it's just so overwhelming it's hard to imagine things being light years away, when light travels at 186,000 mph?

Edit: lol nvm, wikipedia confirmed that light travels at 670,000,000+ m.p.h.

Well 12.4 billion light years is a measure of distance, 12.4 billion years is a measure of time.

quantum physics is freakier imo!

I'm reading a book called The Fabric of the Cosmos right now, it offers a pretty good overview of relativity, quantum physics and string/m-theory.

edit: night mrmossy

In fact, I was gonna saw earlier that a dog can poop 12.4 billion light years away right now, we just couldn't know about it for 12.4 billion years. But quantum seems to through up that classic question of what noise does the tree make in the empty forest; that is, do things exist if they are not observed.

How much FE do I need if I think his range is AKo, AKs, QQ and some % bluffs

I don't have pokerstove on this computer, can someone stove JJ vs that felting range for me?
