Yeah I've considered quitting. Mostly because I'm not sure I can be a winner at cash games at a high enough level to make a difference in my life. I've spent a lotta time, and still haven't beaten 100nl. I am smart, but unsure what it is that I'm missing.
I finally thought I was getting "it" in December. But when I moved up from 50nl, I had a good swing up followed by up and downswings for the next 17k hands. It was very frustrating, and I probably complained too much in the brew. I watched probably like 1-2 poker videos a day in addition to grinding those hands. And got totally burned out from video watching as well. Which of course led to a terrible night of tilting.
I guess everyone has their snapping point where they just don't care about the value of money anymore.
Anyway, I'm going to take a long break from poker...
