Keys,
FWIW, I've always struggled when moving up for the first few rounds. the only time I didn't was when I moved up to 100nl, and I 1) ran really amazing for one session to get a huge bankroll boost and 2) was getting coaching. These two things helped me feel super comfortable.
Extend your BI requirements before moving up so you're more rolled to handle the downswings.
Don't play nervous. Realize that they're just like the people you've been playing against.
sweat/get sweated
play less tables
table select (telescope is legal on stars, and there are hand history services)
read the poker mindset
What is telescope?
Table selection is critical to what I do, but I can't do anything now other than continuously scout the tables I'm on.
If there's more help than that, I'd love to have it. What are hand history services?
Remember, I'm part-time at best. I've only played 50k hands since December. My job's intense, so I can't keep up with the latest technology. Right now I just have PT3 with customized HUD stats, but I've got nothing better than that.
What should I do?
