anyone got experience of playing deep stacked tourneys on stars? Any idea how long a 1000 player field would take to complete?

tbh after 4 hours i'll probably be pulling my hair out and randomly shoving. I'll probably play it anyway, hu tables are closed for the day.

I played one of the super deep tournaments on Stars one day. It started at 9 PM and I busted 7th, after playing for like 12 hours. It takes about 14 hours, as you said. Really, you got to have gotten a lot of sleep in order to play in those tournaments.

Still can't conquer 50NL. Had a set against AA, AI on the turn, ship the A on the river.

Back down to 25NL for a bit. I get the bad beats at 50NL, but I'm not sure if I'm 3.5BI down because of variance, or because of my skill level.

Since the beginning of the year, I'm making 4.04 PTBB/100 at 25NL over 26K hands. I'm not sure if that's enough to make myself sure I can move up safely, even though I'm rolled (30BI) for 50NL.

50NL right now is -4.30 PTBB/100 over about 4K hands. I might just need more confidence.

Think you may be right, get someone that plays there to sweat you even even for 1/2hr so u don't start doing 'crazy' stuff 'and end up over adjustng'

just try and play 50 the same way you play 25. don't overadjust, definitely don't assume that the regs are any good, just play the same game you play at 25 and with experience you'll be able to modify it to the way you need to play 50, but just dont move up and then expect everybody to be super-aggro and making advanced moves on you and stuff cuz i guarentee you they aren't

I ran 8BB/100 last month in 50NL (although I had a 8BI downswing)

how deep? i would think that even like 200+ deep, stars structure is so aggressive you'd be knocking ppl out right and left like halfway between the first and second break?

I'm going to be in SSNL soon and since uNL helped me a lot, I wanted something to remember it by. Since I don't / can't I posted it as a failed well.
I never said I'm coaching, I said it feels like I'm coaching because I got near 0 to very low amount of criticism to my play while sweating with 3 people
And I AM currently running really good @ 50NL right now considering I have yet to get sucked out for a BI+ over the past ~2k hands.

And I'm pretty sure my post is relevant considering I ran 8BB/100 (which isn't great therefore not making me awesome....lol) over a 20K sample last month and if he's beating 25NL for 8BB/100 over a 26K sample, then I would say he's perfectly fine for 50NL
