@ krax, reading that story is really fcuked up. bouncers are complete dcikheads, completely abuse their power and thats why everytime i go into a club i always try and strike up some smalltalk on the door, like taking the piss outta my photo ID or summit, because in their lonely little lives they will remember the interaction. ive been in your situation before, not sure if it was to the same degree, and its pretty difficult to act straight away for sure. thankfully i knew the DJ and he stopped the music for me, thats always a good option, as i think vithel alluded to because if youre seen to being reasonable and trying to get your mate outta there in front of a whole dancefloor that can hear whats going on the bouncers got no choice but to let it go for obvious reasons (club reputation, witnesses, mob tyranny etc). failing that stamp him in the side of the knee from behind, watch him crumble and get the fcuk out of there. maybe chuck in a cheap shot whilst he's down
