i find turn cbet stats extremely useful. Both turn cbet and f2turn cbet. Takes a while to converge but not too many hands

hundreds?

u rarely have more than a few dozen hands on random fish who sit down, play for <1 hour and u never see again.

imo
same here except I use AFq instead of AF, I think its most def a better stat.
And also one more line at the bottom I use saw flop/saw turn/saw river. Can help determine who's chasing/calling, who (not) to double barrel, etc.

I dont even feel like its necessary to know turn stats on like any of the people i play against...leak?
08-05-2010 , 03:14 AM
If I only do flop stats, then I find myself constantly goin "wtf does he do on the turn?"

I run:

vpip/pfr/3b/f3b/steal/foldsteal/limpfold - these are the stats i look at the most pre and find it easier to be lazy if they're on the screen

cb/fcb/cb-fold/donkbet

turn cb/ftcb/cb-fold

It helps to see the progression.

I feel like by the river, how the hand has played out and the board and what I know about the person is more important, but I'll hover and look at wwsf/wtsd sometimes, or how much they bet and fold on the river. If I'm looking to value bet thin IP I'll take a glance to see if they c/r a lot. if they're prone to, I'll just check behind with decent sd value.

Who said we were talking about stats that are useful against fish?
That's a useful stat against regs obv. So many regs don't double barrel enough and it's easy to exploit and allows us to call their cbets wider/float more

i got vpip/pfr/3bet/fold3bet/steal/cbet/fcbet/agg/hands on my hud and then click the pop up for all the other stuff

Clicking the popup is too much work. I'm lazy.
08-05-2010 , 04:01 AM
sometimes i just mouse over

like if you mouseover steal, it will show you their 3bet vs steal%

if i go in the pop up it is usually to look at positional vpip/pfr/3bet stats, c/r%, raise cbet%, turn barrel%, river aggression
08-05-2010 , 04:08 AM
Oh I know. I spent a few days setting up some stellar popup configs. I'd probably cry if my computer crashed and I didn't have it backed up.

I distilled everything to 4 popups:

steal - standard
3b - added by position, ip/oop, 4b, cold 3b, cold 4b, ip vs ep, all those
pre - pretty much everything you want to know by pos preflop
post - everything for post by street

it makes it easier to follow what I think someone will do when they take an action - like do they keep barreling, do they 1 and done, do they cr, do they fold a lot later, etc.

I just like emphasizing the laziness part.

my computer crashed in early july and i lost all my config, my db, my player notes - EVERYTHING

no backup of anything obv

it sucked a lot, i think i cried a little

I've lost my notes a few times. I always forget to back them up. I need to backup stuff.

As far as configs, I have them on both my laptop and desktop so that's covered.
08-05-2010 , 04:18 AM
pt3 or hem should let you link notes to specific hands so you can actually see what happened... maybe they do already though... i never take notes so i wouldnt know
08-05-2010 , 04:21 AM
I haven't tried that - i liked the system grindcore laid out, but tbh, most of my notes are noting what hands people do stuff with. My more complex ones are guys I actually picked apart in my DB.

How exactly does the cbet/fold stat work on the flop and turn? Is it purely just cbetting and folding to a raise, or cbetting and folding to a raise/folding to a donk on the next street/check-folding next street?

So I tried FTCash and I'm having an issue that I had with TN as well - I'll click on a button 3-4 times before it does anything. And it doesn't save my settings.

Anyone use anything that does these 2 things?
This ... all of it. Please tell me if u find.

And TY TY because I didn't realize TN was causing this problem with my buttons, but it makes sense because I was just bitching to comstizzle about how I kept timing out before, and stopped timing out but couldn't sweat because my buttons weren't working properly and it was tilting me hard. Everything tilts me hard.

I'm going to try time bank butler ("expensive" @ $25, but would have paid for itself already this month) or this ...

I can live without sitout all.

when you cbet, someone raises you, and you fold.

fold to a donkbet, or checking the next street would be covered by fold to donkbet/cbet turn.

Gladly. I have timed out so many times. I keep forgetting to hit time bank.

And I know it's whatever these two things are doing because when I play with nothing, I get no weird non-clicks. Sometimes, I'd click fold like 4 times before it would fold. I'd see the button depress on the screen, so I know it was being pushed.
