Lmfao, or you have a note about the action and board. And now you have to infer what that meant.

I had Dint labelled as bright purple(I use that for aggro monkey) I have notes saying 4bet folded etc, LOL

how does it do it!?
Good assumption. I meant the wr ptr states for each stake is different than hem wr. For example, it has missed 1221 hands of 10nl for me compared to my hem. Close to 6 bi's of profits it missed. And the w/r on hem is 2x > than ptr for that stake. PTR is garbage for people to compare each other too and really what does it matter how much you won/loss, w/r, etc. Judging others game by PTR results or bragging about it is counter-productive.
08-24-2010 , 05:51 PM
thats cause ptr displays PTbb/100 where as HEM displays bb/100
08-24-2010 , 05:57 PM
ptr hasnt been around that long, and games have gotten tougher as time goes along, so most peoples lifetime graphs are much better than their ptr graph if they've been around a while.
08-24-2010 , 06:00 PM
ptr is accurate enough to go off of. people who say its far off on them might have an agenda. yes it misses hands all the time, but if u play with any type of volume it will be good enough to go off of.

Would you agree that if ptr misses hands it should do so randomly? So just by variance there should be people running worse than what ptr says. Yet I've never seen a post where anyone admits that. Never...

i just now tried to compare my hem and ptr from this month, but its kind of hard to tell how many hands exactly ptr missed, because sometimes its just slow updating. i'm pretty sure its less than .03% though, at least for that particular sample.
08-24-2010 , 06:14 PM
i wish ptr was like sharkscope with the opting in thing, btw. then it would still be useful for people being able to prove their own play or check on a coach or whatever, but not for shaming people at the tables. ofc they have different self interest than me.
