on the topic - poker has definitely made me a worse person and ****ed my lifestyle in many ways. idk i've always had kinda degen tendencies tho, poker just amplifies my already flawed personality.

a lot of it really has nothing to do with poker. its just like when kids that are 18-19 become professional athletes or smth and have never worked a day in their life. it really messes up your perspective. i'm pretty sure that poker for me would have been a total trainwreck for me when i was 21, but now its a pretty useful thing.

yeh i agree. i'm 18 and winning then losing more money in the first 4 weeks of summer than my 2 best friends are gonna make in their jobs combined definitely was prolly the worst thing that happened to me pokerwise. but yeh i always had like tilt problems in life but after poker their worse i think.

@Sc00by - u gotta be insane to really think u are a 7BB/100 winner at 25nl. no one on ptr is winning at that over decent sample sizes and good players like mdorand only get ~4BB/100. i mean, do u think u are 3+ BB/100 better at 25nl than mdorand and every other top 25nl winner? really?
