As a matter of fact I can't. I got my $58 rakeback on the 13th and have it up to $112 at the moment, once I hit $225 I'll be moving $200 to stars for 5NL. 2NL is fun, it feels good to win.

I'm glad to know that the guy in your old avatar wasn't you at least. I was feeling kind of bad laughing at your expense with the thought that you might really be an ugly midget.

@srooney

I think it depends on how close the decision is and the likelihood you will play enough hands with villain to make the read worthwhile.

In theory you should make all 0ev calls bc the information is worth money. But when the call is -ev it becomes very difficult (impossible?) to weigh the value of that information vs the loss of the call.

21/17/inf/380 hands 3bet 7%

did I do anything fundamentally wrong? Check flop to let him jam his AK/ Im c/folding a lot in 4bet pots, so I wanted to check/call for once, he is reg after all. I guess c/c this turn is better than jamming, right?
08-21-2010 , 02:06 AM
4b bigger

flop check is spew

How can you be c/fing a lot in 4bet pots? If they are flatting 4bets wide 4b way tighter. How can they know that you c/f in 4bet pots even if you do, they just dont happen often enough.

yeah i didnt type all that but that was basically what i was assuming was understood.

my thought overall was that it still wasn't -ev, but if it was, i think it is literally so miniscule, the info i learn, no matter how small, should b worth it
08-21-2010 , 02:09 AM
how can u say check flop is spew without reads?

sometimes it's the most +EV play as alot of ppl will just jam their entire range in that spot

as played turn is much better to jam over c/c
08-21-2010 , 02:12 AM
its spew
