I lost 340$ in 1200 hands and I wanna cry. The saddest part is last villain, who won two flips, I took it all back, he was at 30$, which is exactly what he sat in with, he was tilted and was jamming at least 30% hands, I got AQ, he jams 77, flop Axx, turn 7. And he went on to get 170$ from me.

back to exclusive nl25 6max grind and **** hu, **** hu, **** hu

i assume you are referring to seeing me on the rush tables. I have not been in the mood to grind much and when i'm not i goof off at 25nl rush or plo or something to get my iron points. But i love goofing off at rush experimenting with things. I've done maniac river raise style for the fun 45 deg up redline and like tonight was more tight, straight forward and passive and let people call and spew and i had the 45deg down redline.

I 25nl Rush.

What is your vp$ip/pfr/3b at hu krax?

edit: I mean vs these terribad players

I think a big problem I have headsup with terrible players is playing a 45/36 game when I should be tighter, the smaller sc's suck after the flop when there is no fe.

-nl100 shot with 4k, once I have substantial liferoll (6k+)=2011 prob

insta4bet: dependent entirely on villain. When I sit in vs presumed unknown reg I open prob 90% buttons and 3bet 20-25%. I dont flat very often tbh.

But Ive had couple of villains against whom I 3bet 50%+ and opened every button...

i sat out to watch one stupid hand where i opened with 33 some dude flatted TT (or he 3b small) and you made it like 1/4 his stack with AA. Of course he flops a T

I honestly dont even remember, I was too tilted because of what was going on on hu tables.
But I run very well in nl25, EV line wise. Most of it is from me holding after opponents taking totally ******ed line though.

and I swear to god, if I get ****ed over during next move up, I'll just stay at nl25. Im not sure I have another regrind in me. This game is cruel

nl5 regs are intriguing imo

seems apparent at this point u have the 24 tabling thing down decently

any wisdom gained from the learning process you'd like to share? am considering going from 16->24 tables. table selecting much past 16 seems hard, gonna get stuck at many crappy tables. can u manage a 20/18 style or do u drop down to 15/13 or whatever. why not play full ring?

ehhh, i still have a lot of room for improvement i think.

one thing that helped me a lot is to make a note on spazzy annoying regs. not actually take a note, but just color code them. then when i open tables in the lobby, you can see that color from there and not sit, as well as it really standing out when they pop up on your tables. doesn't really matter if they're any good or not, bc they are distracting and waste a lot of your mental energy which makes it a lot harder to keep up with all your tables without messing up even if they totally suck.

just read shpanko's well, 10k/month, tilted again (what do these guys have that I dont?), stress eating time again.

---

so majority of this forum still plays at pokerstars? I thought that games have gotten a lot tougher there, no?
08-20-2010 , 02:10 AM
games at stars were undeniably hurt by the shortstack table splits

but once they get you hooked on that vip program its kinda impossible to break loose except on the 1st of the year

and there still are some fish left
08-20-2010 , 02:16 AM
The shortstack tables can't have hurt the PS games as much has FTP's shortstack tables + rush tables did.

Cereus is just full of regs and bonus whores, PS is still the softest site available to US players.
08-20-2010 , 02:17 AM
errrr nomeansno you play 2nl-5nl and are complaining about the games?? wut
08-20-2010 , 02:19 AM
i always liked ftps software and games more than stars, but it wasnt long after i started playing full time that i realised if you play long enough, customer service is much more important, and ftps sucks.
08-20-2010 , 02:21 AM
i love rush poker tho
08-20-2010 , 02:22 AM
I don't think I've ever complained about the games at any stake.

I bought a new computer yesterday and had to download PS again. I dont have my filters set on it and have both 25 and 50nl tables filtered only by "avg pot". Some of the 25 tables were at the top. It was fun actually. Probably shouldnt tempt myself lol.

Yeah that game is fun. Did anyone figure out the 2nd one indianboy posted? Im not even good at the game I just like it. Played it over in POG awhile ago.
