errr this isn't getting enough love, small blind had almost nothing behind

I though so too. Not anymore. If the BB plays back at you, you are right.
But there are so many BB where you can open every SB to 3bb and they fold 80% of the time. If they start playing back it's a totally different ballgame, but as long as they keep on folding to 3x raise, I see no reason to invest more than 3bb to steal nor do I see any reason to not to steal with ATC.

I am obviously not advocating not stealing against people with high fold to sb steals and maybe i am overestimating the skill of the average micro stakes player but I just cant see how most people wont adjust vs sb stealers.

i steal a ton from the sb but the thing is the attempt to steal against me from players in the sb is fairly low. i am kind of one of those annoying guys to have on your left. i will 3b you, call a lot and just generally play back at you post flop so most regs will just seek to avoid the variance.
