it's much better with a king.
to anyone thinking you turn ur hand completely face up, and it's just not going to be profitable to call 3 barrels here, cus ur never c/f flop so i'm not betting without a king or equity
I turned my face up so you could barrel me off with your draws. I admit it was a ****ty line and looking at it now and re-evaluating, it's totally -EV because of the spots I get myself in, aswell as the times I'm going to get totally owned. I just thought by making my hand look like a TT/JT/QJ/QQ type hand, instead of me betting 2 streets vs. you for value and then to protect against draws, I could c/c two streets, let you barrel then hands that would call if I bet, aswell as total air which wouldn't, I'd still get two streets worth of money in, and you'd still be betting the river with your missed draws to get me off my weak pair hand, which I wouldn't get if I bet them myself.
I thought you might check behind a K on this river too because my line is so ****ed up, but your bet sizing was a total give away. I might have taken a little more time if you made the turn and the river a little smaller, but betting $10 into $13 for value made little sense as there's no two pairs in my range except KJ, only sets which I'm obviously shoving, so you betting so big when my range is so weak was a little appealing to me, I saw the money and pounced
.
I do miss a lot of value taking this range as I don't think I get so lucky often enough to make this profitable.
