I was just doing a sweat with srooney, and this hand came up which was pretty interesting.

villain is 71/26 with a 27% aggression frequency. So he looks pretty passive. In addition we have a note on him that says "passive with 2pair." saw him play 2pair passively twice against us. So then this hand comes up:

Sean wanted me to call, because villain slowplays his big hands so he likely has a busted draw. i pussied out and folded, because when a passive player bombs the turn and the river top pair is no good. Opinions?

Cheap rebluff. Coupled with excellent turn for me to lead and then barrel river to get him off rando ****. 3betting flop looks so FOS and this bad reg won't fold like 77 but I can lead turn to fold out A high etc or smaller pps by river.

River bet is really bad btw. It's almost certainly the worst option between betting a little bigger, c/c and c/f.

super thin value bet on the river... check/call imo because he probably wont look you up with 3 pair

Just edited that I thought river was bad Agree c/c is probably optimal.

Villain in BB is a reg and a 2p2er who knows who I am. The other player in the pot is a fish. Pretty strange spot on the turn given I don't expect this reg to check any value hand twice with a fish in the pot. Should I just fold the turn even though it's really hard for him to have a value hand and he knows that I will respect turn raises as nutted?

well if he's decent he should know there are alot of Ax hands in ur range, and you might bet air, so it's a good spot to go for a c/r with 2pr+, esp if u can level urself into thinking he can't have a value hand

spraggy that's really tough. I expect the BB to think you're FOS sometimes when you bet the ace. Then when the river comes, there are plenty of worse hands that he thinks he's value betting with (AT, A7s, AK). So for what it's worth i like how you played it.

How about this one folks? Villian is 22/18 over 600 hands. I know he can 3bet light IP vs other regs (which CO is). Not a huuuuuuuuuge fan of pre probably best to 4bet OOP but w/e I elect to take a flop.
