I suspect that wiz is disappointed that he wasnt flamed tbh. His decision is totally reasonable obv.

Also, that 76s hand made me really sad. Basically it means that:

1)I have no idea wtf is this game all about and Im miles away from being decent nl100 reg
or
2)Wiz has serious spewing syndrom and still manages to beat the games somehow.

The new legislation HR 2267 is pretty terrible news for online poker players imo. If I go into a casino I don't have to surrender 6% of my money before I can play.

The collection of taxes from withdrawals by the sites is going to be the biggest shock to players. Then they will understand what this is all about, what HR 2267 really is. Just another way to suck more money out of people.

If you're not a full-time poker player it could look something like this.

Withdraw amt. ............$200.00
online access tax 2%..... 4.00
gaming tax (OGCA) 4%... 8.00 OGCA will be newly formed Online Gaming Commission of America
State gaming tax 2% ...... 4.00
Fed Icome Tax 38% 76.00
State income tax 28% 56.00
T.O.T. 6% 8.88 T.O.T. (Only in America) Tax on Tax

Net withdawal 43.12 click here to continue.

Do they really have to make a 6% deposit tax before all of this?

What is this all about?

Better yet, where can I read the full write up of this legislation?

If you're not a full-time poker player they are calling for something like an 80% tax
