closest casino for me is a full hour and a half drive

i have gone there alone to poker many times

going to casino to play poker with other people kinda sucks tbh

everyone always wants to leave at different times - you just can win and lose money together

going to the casino with friends is cool for pit games and general partying tho

ladies, make sure you douche before asking for a raise, nothing hurts your chances more than smelly vagina...

Is it bad for tilt in general to celebrate when you win flips?
08-28-2010 , 02:52 PM
nah it's good to be happy about winning flips. as long as getting into that situation was the only way to play the hand profitably, you can't rly be upset about losing a flip, either.

I am mentioning this in my 2k post, i consider this a pretty big leak if you celebrate a flip or get mad when you lose.

Idk about you, but I'm pretty stoked when I win a flip.

When I lose I just shrug and go "Meh. Standard"

I do think it's a problem if you get pissed for losing a flip however
08-28-2010 , 03:11 PM
But then again, there are some situations where losing a flip is a bit disappointing

For instance in this scenario

Poker Stars $50.00 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

BB: $50.00
UTG: $50.75
CO: $99.55
Hero (BTN): $57.05
SB: $144.15

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is BTN with K A
UTG raises to $1.50, CO calls $1.50, Hero raises to $6.50, 2 folds, UTG raises to $17, 1 fold, Hero raises to $57.05, UTG calls $33.75 all in

Flop: ($103.75) 7 4 Q (2 players - 1 is all in)

Turn: ($103.75) T (2 players - 1 is all in)

River: ($103.75) 3 (2 players - 1 is all in)

Final Pot: $103.75
UTG shows 9 9
Hero shows K A
UTG wins $101.75
(Rake: $2.00)

I have yet to 3b in a span of 100 hands, CO is a fish

Hands that go "wtf is he doing" but you still lose if you know what I mean

try holding down the power button for 30 seconds. drains all the power and might reset the machine better.

if that doesnt work..

The only flips that annoy me are when you are at the bottom of your range with AK and they get it in with a ridiculous pair like 22.

Spoiler:
Those flips plus all the flips that I lose.

pretty each to check if its the power supply. swap in another one and see what happens. if u dont have one, buy one, keep the receipt, test it, return it if it doesnt fix it.

be glad if its the power supply, thats one of the cheapest components (<$100).
