Now he is everywhere posting strat and he and Veneer are quite possibly at least partially responsible for games getting more difficult. sell out...i liked the bitter ahole reclusive mdorand
i think its awesome and a little amusing that i got some hate here now for being nice haha....What a flip that is right? (DOH, I cant win!) I dont really understand why though, but it doesnt really matter. Back when I posted more aggressively, I still never had a problem with responding in threads with strat, I just didnt feel the need to expand on my thought process, or stats etc, because well, thats info that people should pay for IMO.

I was just always against the giving out of free info. Why educate everyone for free when we had to personally learn these lessons and pay for them at the tables or through a coach? Didnt make sense to me. I still dont post a ton of strat now, so really the only thing that changed as far as my posting style is I just started posting more passively, which could more easily be read as more friendly.

Blaming any specific players for the games getting tougher is obviously silly. People will gravitate towards where they think easy money can be found. Poker was, for a time, like the US gold rush of the 1840's...People heard about the 'easy' money to be found just by moving out west and theyll be rich beyond their wildest dreams! Guess what happened? So many people wanted a piece of the gold 'pie', and moved out west that the gold eventually, and quickly, ran out! In fact the gold rush was considered over by 1855. So few years to jump on such a great opportunity huh? Sound familiar to anything we are doing in present day?

We all either play poker for fun or for the money, there isnt any other real reason to play. I mainly play to make money, and that controls my decisions when it comes to poker and my poker time.

i agree with matt about not going very in depth on strat. i do post strat every now and then but i'll rather ask hero questions rather than give him answers
if he wants to get detailed explanations and stuff then he can get coaching or subscribe to training sites

I totally agree MDoranD, I wish all decent players would just shutdown from posting strategy and only respond to my questions.
