Whatever the most you think he'll call w/ J is. Easy game.

IDK just from stats, but villain looks stationy. I'm betting... I don't know what I'm betting because bet sizing wasn't planned well.

Dunning-Kruger effect. beating fish/bad regs is about dumbing yourself down to just one level above theirs. I suffered through this a lot because of how well-versed I am on "the lines a good player takes/should take" made me give ppl more credit for handreading than they really deserved.
08-07-2010 , 12:43 AM
Probably means he does not expect you to raise a set on this board texture. So he believes your turning pp worse than TT into a bluff. Which you deceptively played your range, so you profit. Even from my experience at 100/200nl and talking to a few msnl players a lot of regs flat AA in mp vs utg opens.

can't tell if this is a level or not? I'm not implying that I'm a great player; rather I am implying (as an example) that people raise in a ton of spots where they could make more money by calling but sometimes it's better to realize that they just like their hand a lot and they are praying that they can cooler you.

What exactly do you see wrong with the betsizing? I don't like the 4x open even utg, wishiewish advocates 3.5x as a standard, I like the flop sizing but I'd go a tad smaller on the turn, that way I can b/f 3/5 pot on the river for $3 and only be folding away just under half my stack when he shoves.

I was implying that I don't know what lines a good player takes/should take, but apparently I failed at that too.

I don't tap on the glass (there, there is your level).

to me, most the value in 2+2 is learning how weaker regs play from replies in random threads.
