yea you should add some lighter 4bets but also tighten up your opening range. It's not like you should be happy to see K5s just because you can open and then 4bet light. Like you said prob better to leave table if you're not going to adjust

rly? sick cuz ppl have been jamming some weird stuff against me

and ppl do start jamming TT+, AQ for value if you keep 4betting them

I'm by no means opening Kx or Ax purely so I can 4bet
08-03-2010 , 02:51 AM
yeah it came out wrong i guess. My point was that you should drop some weak Kx, Ax and some other marginal hands from your opening range because they easily become losing hands if someone 3bets a lot. You have to be 4betting 25% of those hands to break even against that guy, excluding the 4bet hands that you lose

hi august

08-03-2010 , 03:14 AM
That is it, if I go broke at 10NL I am just going to hang myself. $180 roll at the moment.
08-03-2010 , 03:16 AM
why not play 5nl? didn't you jump 2nl -> 10nl?
08-03-2010 , 03:18 AM
10nl isn't that hard, 20 BI should be more than enough. just play like 4 tables and concentrate on player tendencies and ranges

This guy seemed super aggressive, something like 51/20 over 18 hands cbetting 3/3, am I just leveling myself if he calls turn and I push river?

could anyone do me a favor and trade my $32 on stars for your $30 on full tilt?
08-03-2010 , 04:14 AM
**** yesss! I've won 5 hands of blackjack in a row. I doubled the $38 which gave me a $201 roll and I took the $1 and flipped it 4 times, hit blackjack twice i think and now have $225 even, I can move $200 to PS and start off at 5NL with a comfortable 40 buyin roll.

How close to Eureka are you comstizzle?

What do you think of this 300bbs deep vs a 10% 3bettor over 200 hands. So far I've suspected he slowplayed the river after he checked raised when the flush got there (I was bluffing), he also got 99 in vs me after calling the flop with an overpair and jamming over a safe turn.

I can see him showing up with a jack, QQ+, maybe a medium PP with a diamond or the A of diamonds

bet turn imo to get him to fold 22, 33, 44, 66, 88, 99, TT, and Ad. I'd give up after that.

I have to think betting turn and giving up on the river is better than checking turn and betting river, most river cards wouldn't be as good as the Ah I don't think and it just looks pretty full of **** without a K or A on the river.

4bet is allright,not the best hand but w/e. I don't like cbetting without barelling and I don't like barelling,so just c flop.

I don't think he fold much on the river to be honest. Your line looks like air,and he might look u up with any pair

His line looks like Ax w one being diamond. At least that's what he's trying to rep.
