What's good brew? Just returned from a week at the beach just north of Borgata and got my live poker on at Harrah's AC. God I love live poker.

Also I second this Jer. It smells good to be back with the degen's.

I believed it mostly, but also took it w/ a grain of salt. come to find out, everyone has been misrepresenting the truth.

Spoiler:
its even softer
I'll be playing sessions in Chester every Thursday night (to start) until someone decides to hire my extremely intelligent ass. You should PM me when you're coming through and we'll link up.

One of my buddies lives near Downingtown, I may come down sometime with him to try out the Harrah's casino in West Chester. I'd obv let any brewers know if I decide to pay your stomping grounds a visit.

Unfortunately the Harrah's casino is in Chester, not West Chester. Here is a the difference.

West Chester, PA:

Chester, PA:

I couldn't find a pic, but Harrah's Chester is right next to a PA State Prison. You could literally throw a baseball from Harrah's property over the prison wall into the yard.

Sick digs imo. Casinos are always in crappy areas it seems. They lure in the poor and rob em blind

Dude so true. You should see the number of people dumping welfare checks to Harrah's in that place. It's actually sad.
08-23-2010 , 01:23 PM
lol nice comparison. Either way I still may decide to try going down there someday.
08-23-2010 , 01:27 PM
If you do just let me know. The games are super soft.
08-23-2010 , 01:59 PM
Yeah, I'm sure they're fairly similar to how the games are up here at the Sands. Either way though, I'd let you know for sure if I did make the trip down there. What games do they offer down there? I'd probably stick with the lower tier tables, but the Sands only has 12 actual tables for the time being, when full, there's probably 10 NL games going, ranging from just 1/2 - 5/10.

25 table room. Super nice but a little cramped. Games ranging from 1-2 to 5-10 and some fixed limit crap plus 1 PLO and 1 omaha 8. It's hard to get a game at night so you have to show up early. There was a 15 person waiting list for 1-2 two Thursday's ago and every table in the room was running. I think this is standard.

I had my human resources company hire me a temp laborer for a job in cleveland. So he shows up on time and is doing a pretty good job.

I ask him what brought him to ohio(his resume stuff was from denver) he says "a woman" so I ask how he met her. And he proceeds to tell me about how he runs a not for profit ghostbusters(not his actual words, but he said he had a containment unit in his basement) so for the last 5 hours or so I have been listening to ghost stories.

So he asks me what my hobbies are and I tell him online poker.

The next hour is him ranting about how poker isn't a skill game and how online is rigged and blah blah blah.

Dude believes in ghosts............
But thinks I am crazy for playing online poker. I might bring him a tinfoil hat tomorrow.
