Hopefully I'll be able to steal someone's wi-fi while I'm away and stay updated in any poker news?

happy friday the 13th.

- Poker sucked major balls, but I only lost a bi.
- got severely tilted in skype chat earlier. FU pete.
- went to bar
- no fights
- didn't drunk text PJo things I don't remember why I said.
- Traded vehicles with my roommate so bouncers could use his truck for trash run.
-- couldn't figure out how to work his remote door opener
-- almost forgot to put it in park when I parked
-- did well driving an automatic for the first time in like 6 months.

Congrats on driving the automatic. My car is manual and I hate driving automatic vehicles now. I feel like I have way less control over the car.

Usually I break with my left foot and forget to put it in park. It's really more that I'm sure the people riding with me have an unenjoyable ride than anything else.

dude, we're all pantsless half the time itt, don't be scurred.

I also resisted the urge to go pour myself a beer behind the bar when everyone was closing up in the back. I thought I'd had enough.

And, the bartender said I made her night last night with how I was after getting drunk. So that's all good. makes up for feeling like **** most of today.

I'm not scurred, i don't curre.

Break with your left foot? I never heard of this. I usually just work the clutch with my left and leave the right to do the throttle/break work. I imagine this could be dangerous. Probably not though.
08-14-2010 , 03:22 AM
Well, it's only when I'm driving an auto. I just am like "oh, breaking/turning, gonna shift, left foot" and it just goes to the break and since I'm used to pushing all the way, I hit it pretty hard.

I really hate driving an auto with other people in it. I feel bad for them.

i dont get it. how can u guys not be able to drive automatic well? u just....drive.

if it was the other way around brky then u should feel bad for them.

Obviously I can drive an automatic, but if you've ever driven stick for an extended period you'd know how I feel about having less control over the speed changes and breaking in the car.

brky, I know exactly what you're saying. I always have that urge to lift my left foot but I typically brush it off pretty quickly. If you're riding the breaks like you describe it must be brutal for your passengers. But it's the same with people who aren't used to riding in a manual car. They always complain about downshifting or up-shifting because of the brief pause when the clutch is engaged or feeling the car slow itself down quickly. I tell them to quit being bitches and recognize.

well if you do something constantly, and then don't have to do it, but are in the same situation, you instinctively do that.

That's how I am with the left foot breaking - it's like when I'm turning the corner, or stopping, because I'm so used to shifting automatically in those two situations.

And if you can't drive a manual, you should learn, it's way better than an automatic. Once you learn, you're like "oh snap, why would I have it any other way?"

Here's the plan: when we make the new page, don't quote the whole post full of images.

in before it happens out of spite.
