I actually have a lead for a job out in Chi-Town. And I have a couple of friends who live out in the Lincoln Park area. I've been to Oakbrook, Riverside, and a few other spots. I love that town.

Lincoln Park is awesome if you are young . I usually go down their on the weekends cause they have pretty good bars with sexy ladies (aka college chicks).

Wow, long day. I couldn't fall asleep last night. When I need to make sure I'm up before the 2 pm at which I usually wake up, I panic. So here I stay up till like 5:30 for no reason. I get up at 9:30, take care of some stuff, fall back asleep, wake up at 12:30. Oh crap, friends will be here at 1:30 to leave. Get everything done by 1 and chill.

Not a bad view, and really cool for batting practice. Matt Holliday hit 4 into the upper deck just above us.

I found one of my two friends who also happened to go to the game (it's a 2 hour drive, so it's not like the 3 of us go to a lot of games, it was just random).

First inning, Reds come up, I send a text, and look up and both teams are at home plate. Brandon Phillips had been talking **** about the Cardinals, and got up and tapped Yadier Molina in the shin guards in a friendly manner. Molina got pissed after all he'd said, the benches clear. I guess Johnny Cueto ended up kicking Cris Carpenter repeatedly.

The Reds played like **** and the Cardinals took advantage of it. It was hot - like almost 100 and I got more sun than usual, so I'm sure I'm gonna feel this tomorrow.

From what I have read, the Cardinals backup catcher Larue got the worst of the kicking, he has a mild concussion and some sort of gash around his eye area. And Carpenter has some scratches from being kicked from that pos as well.

Edit: I just now finally saw the FS midwest version of things and that mother ****er was kicking everywhere. The reds version never showed a good angle, I just assumed he was on the ground and was trying to kick to get free, but he was all out kicking at faces and I hope he gets suspended for many games for that bull ****.

That must have been absurdly entertaining. I don't want to see anyone get hurt, but a good brawl is always great. Especially with the bad blood and all.
