Glad it was easy to just scroll/skim past the rest of the last page. Nothing but rap discussion and ignored posts.

Do any of you kids listen to actual music? Or you prefer to listen to people that talk over beats?

Yes I am from Philly. I know Chic Raw, not personally, but him Black Deniro, Meek Milli, Beans, Gillie Da Kid, Cassidy, Reed Dollaz, The Young Gunz, Oschino... MMMMM I can just about smell that dirty North Philly air.

I'd love to hear your definition of "real music."

Nice, yeah I'm from the area too. Chic is the ONE when it comes to that real hardcore gully s***. I actually know him, from a few years back, he was "cousins" w/ one of my best friends at the time.
And let me tell u firsthand, he's not one of these fake dudes that are a dime a dozen nowadays. Lives his words for damn sure.

Alright keep me updated. Sounds like you need beer to fix it.

Also, if you need a lot of beer where driving's not a good idea, I suggest you come here, we walk and you sleep on my couch. DUI's ain't no joke.

So I found the key to re-heating chinese food. You know how the rice never re-heats as well, and is hard, or clumpy?

Re-heat the rice first, then separate it and add your other food. This makes sure it re-heats better and does what you want it to do.

It is

Brky,

I got a bad batch of material. I am going back home and waiting for some new material. I will be back some time next week though.

I will hit you up then.

Alright man, good luck with all this.

Not a real big deal. Just annoying to waste a day and $100 in gas.

just add water to the rice before you put in the microwave, stir halfway through

ps. this is also the key to cooking mashed potatoes in TV dinners

It's never that much though, I just put some on the plate and heat it. If I were reheating like a bowl full, it's be different. But it does make a lot of sense.

Songs, you know, where people sing. My high-school choir teacher (late 80's) claimed it wasnt actually music unless someone was singing (not talking).

I love rap too, and have a bit in my music library, but my collection is far more diverse (though it was less diverse when I was your age). I was listening to rap before most of you guys were in 1st grade. Fat Boys, Run DMC, Whodini, LL Cool J, etc. I listened to rap in jr hi, metal in high school, then grunge, alternative, etc. My tastes have changed over time but I can still appreciate all the genres for what they are, even those genres that I dont care for.

I like almost any music, if it is done well. Country is the only thing I cant really tolerate for very long and never add to my collection, but that may be in part because of working with guys that listened to country all day on the job. I have 4 or 5 albums in winamp that I downloaded for other people but I skip them when they come on the playlist.

I bet you weren't listening to rap before I was in 1st grade.

I still like old school gangsta rap more than stuff now. It's mostly too poppy. I do like stuff like Kid Cudi and TI and a few others, but mostly, there's very few rappers I will listen to a lot now. And a lot of stuff people name is more pop/hip hop than rap imo.

I remember one day asking my mom if I could get a 2 Live Crew CD. she said no. I'm not sure why I thought it was a good idea, or even asked.

What skin do you use for winamp? And do you find it as easy to navigate your library as it is in iTunes? I used to have winamp years ago but iTunes is just so easy to navigate. Wondering if there have been any good updates/plug ins/skins that make it better now.

The dark/benito skin minimized to the tray or with the window shade pulled up. I like it because it is small (in appearance and ram/cpu use) and simple. I dont browse my library (partly due to laziness and partly because it's a pain) often and I never used itunes. I usually just hit play, in alphabetical order, and jump around if I get bored. I prefer listening to artists, not songs. Sometimes I hit random, but I only have 1 playlist currently for 'rap'. In the past I had a few playlists (metal, new, etc) but I am too lazy to mess with em typically.
