When I play live, I attach a virtual hud to the various players around the table. I keep track of all their stats in my head and project them around their heads for easy use.

Even the live donks will know these stat names by the end of the summer. WSOP is using position terminology/abbreviations (utg, +1, etc) now as well as stats vpip/pfr/agg during the shows.

man there has to be an invention in here somewhere, maybe sunglasses hooked up to handheld device where you input player actions and then you get a hologram on each position in your glasses.

No, not all players who play live are donks. Think of Durrr, and all of the other online pros who dabble in live games. Live donks is a large subset of the live players though.

You can't call something redundant if it's not. I would call Hbomb a non-donk, but I don't have enough information.

I'm really sick of online players thinking that all live players suck when, in fact, they play live at times.

when someone who plays mostly online says "live players are donks" they don't mean that the group of all players who have ever played one live hand in their life are donks. They mean that the group of people who mostly play live, and are not "online regs" are donks.

Is it an oversimplification? Yes. Is it mostly true? Yes. We all make generalizations.
