and fwiw, i posted that before i turned on sportscenter. but even so, it doesnt really change my view on the whole situation. i still say he tells childress in like 10-14 days he feels like he can come back. i just find it kind of weird that there's reports that he's texting longwell and other teammate's that he's retired, but he hasn't told childress anything.

I was a non-conformist way back in Jr Hi and Hi School too. I also had a tendency to be ahead of the curve when it came to trends. I would get called a weirdo, or my favorite 'freak'; and then next year all the cool kids would be doing what they chastised me for the year before.

He's gonna be on the field Sept 9th when the Vikings go to New Orleans. I don't know when or how he gets to the team, whether the Vikes give him a ton more $$$ or more time off, but Ziggy will get it done.

The most irritating aspect of the whole thing is that McNabb/Campbell/Burger/Roethlisburger were all available at some point in the offseason and the Vikings could of made a move to get any of those guys, but obviously didn't because they were sure Favre was coming back.
