they can see all the processes running on your computer. the reason why script banning is unforcable because its easy to just rename lightweight processes like seating scripts so they have no idea what kind of software that process actually is (they prob can do more than just processes) and its pretty easy to mimic human mouseclick/timings if you ban anybody who keeps snap joining seats

and its stars thats ban use of crev with stars open. you get an email from stars telling you to stop and they will ban you if you dont. like its easy to stop/ban software which cant keep changes its name as its a company/brand

second edit: i *think* the problem is if the botters are using a VM to run pokerstars whilst using the original OS to scrape data/game state/ingame software. Those processes wont be able to be seen on the PS client as its in a VM. (this could be wrong). although i imgine you would have to have a pretty awesome pc to be able to all that at once

its very easy to run banned s/w guys.if u r serious all u need is 2 pc.

sure but its not like an@log plays slow or plays 2 tables, he battles everyone including HU and routinely is playing a bunch of tables

Is it not possible in any way to detect that another computer is connected to the original one? Even if it meant more of an indepth look through someones system than just monitoring processes?

depends how you define "connected". I can have PC2 see exactly the data on my screen from PC1, and if it can read data from pixels, it could for example give me advice on how to play the hand I'm currently involved in. That would be impossible to be detected. There's probably multiple ways and easier ways too.

So what can i do now? I fought with ton guys basically whole 2014 and some in 2015 and now they are banned ? So they will make some refund now or what's gonna happen?

If we're gonna get racist might as well ban anyone with a Russian name, they can't even relocate. Then they have to relocate + change their name. They should also ask for pics in case he changed his name, if the person looks Russian they just ban him. If some russians still get through the system, Stars will add an option "upload birth certificate". The good thing about this is that when all those russians who are using a cheat/bot can't play anymore, they totally won't sell their software.

learnfriend asked around for coaching and I wrote with him a little on Skype, volume is pretty massive i admit, obviously him writing doesn't guarantee anything. also I think he had a RIO account, also doesn't guarantee he's not a bot but ya.

also I know not everyone is serious/some are trolling but these country bans etc aren't gonna work, they won't have a positive impact on us or stars AND aren't fair at all. a lot of the Russians are just doing well because they are (like others) very hard workers (study wise and volume wise)

As it was said, there is more chance of those players having a software assisted decision making than being bots.

Thing is there are so few new western grinders these days, because our opportunity costs are so much more than theirs. Every year there are less total western pros and more eastern European ones. I don't know how much of a factor france/spain/italy being huge net losers had in their decisions to segregate, but every year it gets worse and worse for the countries of most people who read 2p2. When I stop being a pro I will be trying to get a large western segregation in place. I think making sure that western grinders will always have a reasonable chance to develop is important to keeping poker around.
