Can anyone recommend what they would consider an unbiased and at least semi-scientific site/book on nutrition, specifically one that examines low-carb and/or gluten free? I went through all of the above links and didn't find what I'm looking for.
Kind of looking for a modern version of Colgan's Optimum Sports Nutrition, which once upon a time was the bible but is very out of date.
The problem I have with a lot of videos/sites/blogs is that they are rabidly pro-one-thing-or-another, while providing anecdotes but little evidence behind that.
Oh and the best read of the above was teh timstone's, I guess I'm looking for something that might reinforce his advice but with moar backup evidence and scientific rationale.
