Just started playing on betsafe, and my sceen name is some wierd series of numbers/letters with a full stop in the middle

Certainly nothing I entered when registering, is this normal or what?

Not sure if it's normal, but in their site you can change your betsafe screen name once.

new partypoker software is out in 6 months. could it be for upcoming bwin+party merge? anyone with rough idea about percentage of bwin's players?

i don't know numbers but anything i've read suggests its enough players to severely change the dynamics of the network, especially since they have a terrible VIP program which means most of their players are fish

should boost party to 3,5-4k cg player in the longrun (bwin itself will boost the player base to over 3-3,5k, the rest will come from player who will join because of the bigger player population)

ps: seen from todays traffic, it should pick up anyway in the next month before the winter season so its even possible that we will see cg numbers of above 4k (which will be pretty decent!)
MTTs will be much better as well, sunday 250-300k etc.

Red Kings withdrawals were down for me too a few days ago. I was finally able to make a withdrawal but it's now taking longer than usual to reach my moneybookers account. Usually a lot quicker.

In my experience, there's a huge difference in how long it takes to get USD, and € on goalwin.

my main balance is in € (I didnt have an USD option)

so I withdraw from € to MB € and thats relative fast

You can only have a MB account in one currency unless you have Skrill VIP silver (transact over 30K Euro over 6 months)
