So you mean by global sit out that once you sit out, you sit out every table?

The problem is how to:
a) get ******s running Ongame acknowledge the problem
b) get ******s running Ongame implement either of the two solutions
Can't see any other solution but everyone emailing about this issue and try convince that it lowers the volume (it does) because it ruins the games for us who plays more seriously and for the reactional players also.

I know ongame is slow / ****** but we have to try.

edit. Unless someone has people inside working who could get things go faster?

i don't like the idea of removing the sitout button altogether (and i think it punishes fish who often sit out to go for a smoke or something) but i can't think of a single reason why you should be allowed to sit out on one table and keep playing on another.

once you click sitout on any table you should be allowed play until the blinds come around on all the other tables and then forced to sit out until you are ready to sit back in on all your tables.

In case anyone hasn't noticed recreational players love to sit out. So removing that feature entirely is a bad idea. Reducing its capacity for abuse by regs on the other hand is a good one imo.

kinda off-topic but just a quick question - is it worth depositing on bwin nowadays or would you go on other skin? (cash and some mtts). thanks

its also very annoying when you play with a few regs trying to start a table. the table fills to 5 regs. then a few minutes later, some other reg takes the last seat with the intention of it pissing off another reg and having them leave so there is an open seat again.
START ANOTHER TABLE INSTEAD *** FACE.

i remember a few years ago when i could have 6 tables of 10 20 @ ongame and games were sick. its really sad these days.
07-24-2012 , 02:42 PM
^don't know how you can complain about that, as long as they aren't joining and then sitting out. some regs seem perfectly fine playing at a table full of regs, so I doubt they are just joining with the intention of pissing others off.

Agree we shouldn't remove totally sit out button, but the global sit out button sounds good.

And agree there is nothing wrong to fill the table as long as nobody is sitting out at tables to block seats. Worst example for the last months has been imbillgates.

Sent email to vip manager and support about this issue. I think everyone should.

it makes the quality of the games worse. i have 0 motivation to help start tables if they fill up with all regs every time.
07-24-2012 , 03:14 PM
It does not make the overall quality of games worse--it makes the quality of that single table worse, and you can simply leave and start another table if you don't like it.

It does not happen often anyways IME--we can all agree that most regs do not want to waste their time in a lineup full of good regs, so I don't see it becoming a regular occurrence anytime soon.

well agree, but that has not been a big problem, usually it runs between like 3-5 regs if there is running so called "reg table". Bigger problem now is that sit out problem.

of course.
LOL and Bill need to get sent somewhere far away.

Bolded part is important if this were to be implemented.

I agree that removing sitout-button altogether might confuse / piss off recreational players so that's a no-go.

So, Global-sitout-button is the way to go.

What did you write? Ie how did you represent the issue on hand?

While we all acknowlegdge the issue and solution I guess we need the assume that the receiver of the email has 2-digits IQ and comprehension of a 6th-grader so I think it would be nice if someone fluent in English could write a short and simple summary of the issue and solution for other regs to copy-paste and email further.

Just described this "sit out" problem and introduced this global sit out button idea while highlighting that there has rised a big discussion between us "pros" and this problem drives away players (also reactional players) from the games.

But if someone fluent in english wants to write I suggest that.

got answer from vip manager

Hi xxx,

Great feedback, it helps us to create and deliver a better product for all our players.
I have forwarded you mail to our poker development manager who is in daily contact with Ongame regarding feature improvements like this.

I totally understand your frustration and I agree on that players who sit out in this way ruins the game for a lot of other players. I will let you know when we get feedback from Ongame and if they are willing to do something about this.

Great hopefully you get a reply soon.

havent seen a guy running as good as MARCLAR
07-25-2012 , 11:54 AM
I would not be to hopeful. I sent long email like 3 months ago to my site's customer service, got prewriten answer where they said pretty much same than at domir's email, nothing obviously changed so I decided to quit ongame's msnl games, havent never been happier....

but it is so great to live in hope

i think we shouldnt complain too much. ongame msnl games are probably the best compared to alot of networks (regarding shortstacking, table blocking and softness). I only know partypoker and ipoker tho so i might be wrong.
