The idea would be that the guy who joins the player sitting alone gets equal benefits, so there wouldn't be a lot more guys sitting alone. It's possible that there could be more HU games going without the third guy sitting, but considering the 3rd guy sitting is often going to be a weaker player the table will fill regardless.

Anyway, the whole point is to provide said weaker players (who do not like to play HU) with an empty seat at all times should they wish to sit at a particular limit.

meh, I don't want shortdonkers to get incentives to start more tables either. Prob net neutral EV table wise. But if it's gonna happen, then for sure I'll take extra VPPs for starting tables.

For example i tryed to start NL600 table now and have been sat alone for 30 mins+

now an hr no1 joined where as loads 20-40bb tables started.

spare seat came at 100bb i took that and un reg from strarting new table - prob a common theme.

Elmastermind: On the off chance you're reading this, my account was comprimised earlier this morning and whomever was accessing my acct played a shortstacked $25/50 PLO hand with you in which they shoved KKxx on AQQTx, according to my HEM which was the only application open on my desktop when I arrived home. I have already sent an e-mail to support in regards to this matter, but thought I should let you know anyway. Yes. I also now have no internet access from my desktop and have written this and my last post from my laptop. I have changed my yahoo e-mail PW after multiple attempts during sporadic internet linkage on my laptop and am thoroughly freaked out as to how I should proceed in regards to this matter. I guess just take my desktop to Geek Squad or whatever and have them fix it?

Why not have the incentives kick in after say 100 hands for starting a table. That'll prevent shortdonks from ratholing if they want to take advantage of the incentive. It might also keep a few games going longer as one would be less likely to switch tables if they had a little extra FPP incentive.

leveled, it sucks you were hacked. You can't possibly ask for someone to give money back in that situation. If the guy that hacked your computer won that hand would you ship him back money? Also, wtf at a hacker using HEM?

Why wouldn't I give the money back had the opposite outcome occurred? Assuming I noticed (which I would've) and that it wasn't donked off a few hands later, I'd try to get in touch with whomever detrimented from the situation. Not everyone's unethical. I've never played $25/50 online in my life and this just completely sucks.

The main issue is that this would open up the possibility of people donking of some money when drunk or whatever and then claim they were hacked. There is also the possibility that some people lose money to that person. Obviously that person isn't going to be refunded so it's a lose lose situation for them. Either they win and give their winnings back after finding out you were hacked, or lose and get nothing back. It's a lot easier to just have the standard be that everyone is responsible for their own security. It sucks that this happened but I don't think people can expect to get money back.

fwiw, at some point last year straate was hacked and lost some money to me. I offered to give him the money back that I won and he declined based on some of the reasons I just listed.

oh yea, no doubt stars has been a leader in the industry for a long time now and has definitely been first to bring new ideas/concepts to online poker. i was just saying it as a 'what have you done for me lately' kind of thing

anyway, that's false i start a ton of 5/10 when i play and will play anyone. i just haven't played much this year. if i'm already on 11 tables or something i will only join good games.

PSA: if you don't want to grind hands to clear a 4k bonus (or are just trying to avoid bonus clearing doomswitch) email support, telling them you don't think you're gonna be able to clear it in time, and request an extension. They will just release it into you're account.
