This is worth quoting for how happy it makes me. Playing a session last night was SO much more pleasant.

I especially enjoy the 35bb stacks who try to play like a 20bb stack. ez money.

Anyone else want to play more then 4 rush tables at a time? I think I could play 6 profitablly.
01-20-2010 , 04:43 PM
6 tables or 6 entries? I can't honestly think of a good reason to play more than 4 entries at a time. With the new rush set up its not going to increase the number of hands you see per hour.

After a 50NL sesh I decided to try the Rush table's @ 25NL. Played 2 tables and ran 11BB/100.

Am I correct, as long as you are dealt a hand RB applies? Same with FT points?

Thats what the site says.

Silly guy, I saw you playing 25NL and I wondered what was going on. Lets just hope it stays this good!

I was wondering. If you have multiple entries in a rush table, can you exit out of one when your stack gets to large and create another with only 100BB?

Yup. I did it last night at 300BBs, takes two seconds, you just close that table and then join in again. Your new entry comes in on the BB, so I tried to wait for 6 or seven hands after my last BB on that entry.

Going to give rush another shot, but at 25nl, If I run ok I could see myself doing 2 sessions a day, one regular, one rush. I'm gunna 3bet IP like a mad man and steal all day, hopefully I get some run goot.

one of my favorite things about rush, is how deep you can play. Had a few >500BB effective stack hands....nice.

Damnnn it's so nice to be playing normal tables again!!

If you really want to smile, pop over to the stars regs thread for a minute, where they are all complaining about the increase in shortstackers over the last two days.

TBH I always thought the 50bb min tables were assinine. It sucks we had to wait so long, but I'm glad FTP did it right.

Swings in rush are insane
01-20-2010 , 06:01 PM
God damn it ..

I was quite happy making some decent money on Ladbrokes and now i cant remove myself from these rush tables ...

Im playing awfull ... so damn tight ...on a normal FR table i would probably go and sit in a corner for an hour and feel ashamed ...

But on these rush tables .... who cares !! heres comes another hand !!

Is there an over/under for the following under-title?

is it just me or is the average pot size of regular tables greater than pre-35bb buyins?

So, this means that everyone is switching now to RUSH? I told you, it's the new way and the future of online poker. I missed my HUD!

not a chance.

The only time i'll be playing RUSH is when me and my friends see how much we can spin up by half stacking from 10nl.

Oh, and to get Iron Man Points when I wanna Study

Last night I tried to 4 table rush.

I literally go motion sickness from having the tables tiled.

I finally realized what it reminded me of: What-a-mole! (fold fold fold fold fold)

I've been thinking of that myself... Kind of like half stack to full stack and then move up a limit, rinse, repeat. Leave table, return with 100BB and freeroll.

I 8 tabled RUSH tables last night and my head nearly imploded. I will say that since all the regs are now playing the rush tables that the normal tables have been excellent. Plus it doesnt make my head hurt.

12k hands in a day is even a little too many for me, going to go back to 12 tabling and getting in about 4500 hands a day.

Rant time ..... why the hell as FT decided to remove the WU withdrawal method. It has been an amazing way to withdraw for over a year now and was always here the next day. Now i have to pay $12 to withdraw by PBW or wait a week for a check to arrive, assuming they have a processor that can handle the increased workload.

One step forward in one area followed by a giant leap backwards in another. Why cant they use all the additional rake RUSH is generating them and come up with a withdrawal method that is stable and worry free. My mortgage company doesnt take kindly to im sorry i cant pay until later in the month as a processor at my 'work' went down.

Wonder how much of a SS strategy might be hybridized to overlay Rush? Since you're not at the same table with the same players I'd think you could open a wider range to a certain extent and get credit. Especially if most of the players are waiting for AQ+, JJ+ type hands knowing they can fold and possibly have a better spot on the next table. 3Bing in position and squeezing ATC from BTN thru blinds with a raise and one flatter worked well. There's GTO here somewhere.
