Yah I have CR's this month and their variety for FR micro is pretty limited. I liked Stox selection way better.

Can someone please tell the fish to quit having the top of their range please. Its killing my redline and profit.

They will allow you to switch. But if you play enough you probably don't have to bother.

I started with CR but since I don't play a lot of hands I made Stox my primary.

Doesn't matter much to me. They're both excellent and if I don't make the hands I just pay the monthly remainder.

Just busted out of the MSOP ME. I am starting to switch my game for MTTs to a more aggresive style. Too many people play the sit and wait stratagy and it just doesn't work it really doesn't. If you are going to beat variance more often you need to pick on those baddies and take the free money forcefully from the table. Playing scared doesn't help you and I have had enough of it. Good solid poker has its place, but not in a big MTT.... not if you want to win it seems.

Get harrington on donkaments vol II, explains how to play latter stages of tournaments very well and tells you all about when you should start shoving to get some chips and how you shouldnt sit and wait for ages for big hands etc. <- my explanation of it is crap but it's a great book.

I may or may not have been steaming at that point

If he's 78/44 he's probably calling a 3bet OOP all day in hand 1, so I'd 3bet. If he's that insane, I might even shove.

I had a good day on 25NL, Only some weird players whining and moaning about plays as if they were Pros... and oh gosh something about Irish & USA rofl

Hahahhaha, I'm running 50 BB/100 over my last 1k hands.

[x] feels great.

Envy Or how do you say that in Swedish? Something like knäckebröd ? ^^
07-05-2009 , 08:23 PM
LOL

I envy you = Jag avundas dig

Currently sitting at a table with 150$, running 38/35 over 200 hands. I've sucked out on aces with kings, i've got it in twice aginst a set on the flop, one time I backdoored a straight, the other time a flush.

And STILL i'm 200$ below EV for july.

Missed that. I thought he mucked. I guess he was going for "thin" value. LOL. He was partly right - after all you didn't have a K (on KKJ flop)!

Can someone here tell me the key to running good?

Is it sending threatening emails to support?

Buying in for a certain (lucky) amount?

Wearing a specific assortment of lucky charms?

Halp?!

I can't even win a ****ing hand anymore.

Any time I ever get action from some monkeybrained drooler, he's either flopped the nuts or will outdraw me by the time we get to showdown.

Did the table aggrodonk just triple-barrel bluff into you with 7 high? Well, next hand he's going to flop a set against your overpair.

Oh, you're heads-up with him again with an overpair. You stack off on the flop, he has top pair and backdoors a straight. Thanks for playing.

Today, over the 4k hands I played, I won ONE POT bigger than 40 BB.

I think I'm going to run bad forever. I can't even understand the concept of running good. It is inconceivable for me to imagine the days where some of you win 5BI in 1k hands. That will never happen to me. And if I EVER do, I'll have a downswing of twice the magnitude immediately afterwards. F*** MY LIFE

I hear you man. I'm in a stretch right now where I'm breaking even for a ridiculous long time and currently I am running 20 buy-ins below EV as 80% of my play is at 50 NL. This streak has lasted over almost 30,000 hands. The only thing you can do is play through it and try to take it one hand at a time. The biggest thing that helped me has been shorter sessions. I have had way too many sessions where I get stuck right away, and then end up playing until I'm almost even (hopefully). This sometimes took upwards of like 6 hours of straight 12 tabling and by the time I'm done I hate poker and feel like a zombie. I now play no longer than 2.5 hours blocks, no matter what. If I'm up 8 buy-ins or down 8 buy-ins it doesn't matter. It has really helped me stay positive because I look at each session as a fresh start. I dunno, here's my graph since June 1st if you don't believe me:
