This is just the last third of a downswing of mine from last year in which I ran ~35 buy ins below all in ev in ~35k hands (the first two thirds had me so tilted I broke my computer slamming it around after bad beats and I lost my DB--but you can find the graphs in chat threads from last summer).

I had a run in which, in the space of a week or ten days, out of 15 times I got all in on the flop or the turn against an overpair they spiked a two outer 13 times.

Don't talk to me about being 8 buy ins below EV; in the first 26 months I played on FT, I averaged being down >10 BIs in all in ev per month.

One standard bad run of suck outs is NOTHING. NOTHING.

FTP has not processed my $1,500 withdrawal for 17 business days now. My previous requests went through in 3-5 biz days. I am suspicious because my previous cash outs left 2k plus behind, now I'm cashing out my roll there. Four days after my withdrawal request of June 2nd, they emailed me and said there was a problem with their third party processor, here's a $150 bonus, sorry. I said no problem and re-initiated the cash out. That was June 10th. I emailed them yesterday, and they said that the funds may be in my account in 20 biz days. Wow. Now I am disappointed and concerned. So I said can I cancel the bank transfer and have a check mailed, but they said no. So basically my money is in cyber-limbo and I can't do anything about it. If I get it by July 8th it will be fine (20 biz days from June 10) but I am losing faith in FTP.

Anyone experience similar problems? Do I have any recourse? Will I ever get the funds, and if so, any idea how long I can expect to wait? Any feedback is much appreciated.

Thanks.

there has been bump in the roads in the past, and usually its from the third party processor. But I have yet heard of anyone not getting their money (unless there was some violations of T&C).

Buddy of mine had some problems, then on the third try he got his money. That was this week.
06-25-2009 , 03:39 PM
yeah, problems are pretty common since the funds seizure earlier this month

like you, i usually got my money in 5 days, and I have had a check request "processing," for over a week now.

the problem, as far as i can tell, is that stars and FTP use the same processors. the prosecutor in NY effectively shut one of them down when he seized the funds, so the others are working overtime (and probably also running scared).

it's not FTP's fault, and they seem to be doing the best they can.

hang in there, you'll get your money eventually.

I've also had a withdrawal sitting in limbo for almost 2 weeks now. Everything will be cleared up eventually. At any rate I hope I can get a $150 bonus out of this. Guess I should email Full Tilt ..

I need some suggestions on breaking a 10 BI downswing resulting from losing a lot of showdowns over 45k hands. WtSD is not unreasonable at 22% but 42% W$SD is unacceptable.

Taking a break is not an option: I am on holidays and wanted to put in a ****ton of hours but I'm starting to really lose motivation.

<--- see location for more details?

  • Own some noobs at 10NL
  • Play some Lolmahaha
  • Do a bunch of sweats
  • Convert FTPs into tokens, tokens into cash
  • Basically anything that keeps you motivated but is a change of pace until you feel like playing your normal game/stakes again
  • (Spew like there's no tomorrow at 2NL)
  • (Write an insulting email to support)
  • ((Hard reboot by getting drunk like never before))
Crying is ok

Or: Just keep playing

hmm so you think its safe to cash out now when i dont really need the money, or should i just wait until this entire mess clears up?
06-25-2009 , 06:32 PM
I thought you were from the Netherlands Joop? That's why you were my favorite so I'm gonna be sad if you aren't.......
06-25-2009 , 06:38 PM
yeah i am, these cashout problems are only for the us then?
06-25-2009 , 06:40 PM
LOL yeah, I'm from Canada and I've cashed out every Friday since the seizure like 3-4 weeks ago and my money is in my bank account in like under 48 hours.
06-25-2009 , 07:33 PM
I would def give it a bit of time for them to clear this problem up

Tables sucking for anyone else tonight?
06-25-2009 , 10:21 PM
So far. I'm taking a break and coming back in a bit.
06-25-2009 , 10:42 PM
Hey I was thinking of cashing out my roll and going to FT for rakeback + bonus. Are echeck deposits up for everyone on FT, cause on PS they aren't there for everyone? Thanks
06-25-2009 , 10:52 PM
[x] dropping 2.5 BI after unticking auto-post blinds for last orbit.
Fun stuff.

Kinda same here. Had a sweet deep stack table at $50nl with position on a mega fish but hands werent hitting and he didnt know where the fold button was so didnt do me much good.
The few fish I hunted down kept running the top of their range into my face.
Tables kept breaking like crazy and getting tuff fast.

Don't know what the complaints are about, games were SICK tonight, at least for me. One huge fish lost 4 buy-ins at 100 NL in like half an hour, two to me lol. Oh yeah, SammyG can you PM me or something please? I have an argument with my friend and we made a bet and I need you to help me out. Thanks

OK this is going to be long and a bit ranty, but I really can't believe how cold I am able to run while being able to break even. This is all within 2 hours and approximately 1k hands. (Sorry again about no hand convertor, but I don't know how to use it still)

1. KK I raise get 2 calls, one player was running 60/40 and playing a very very loose game. Flop comes 10103 we get it all in on the flop which I think is rather standard being that the short stack moved all in he cold called and then I shoved over top for 20 more... he has quad 10s. Full stack lost

2. AA tight player raises and repop he calls flop comes Q73 rainbow which is very nice, but QQ is in his range. I am not sure if people get away from this hand, but I cant... we get it all in on the turn and he has a set of queens. Full stack again

3. QQ against a 75/35 board comes 9 7 3 ,2 hearts , he fires at me a 3/4 sized bet into about a 6.5 pot I think a bit and shove him all in for 23 more lol he calls on the flush draw and I have the Q redraw.... he hits it I love another stack + a lil bit.

4. 55 I flop a set nice 7 5 3 board very good. super easy hand to play he decides to push all in for 11 bucks in a 3 dollar pot. I make the easy call he has AQ no flush draw..... 2 4 turn and river and he straights on me. lil more then half a stack

5. KK Very rough board esp against a guy running 80/0 comes 456 all clubs I have the king of clubs. 3 people in the pot 1st to act leads for a pot bet, the 80/0 calls, I decide to push the hand all in prob not the best move, but these nutballs could be doing this with anything. They both call with a set and a STRAIGHT FLUSH lol another full stack lost.

There were a few other little suckouts, but hey thats the norm you can't win them all. Now even with all of those major coolers on me I managed to win 1.5 BIs. I am able to do very well at 25NL, but has anyone run this cold before? I am talking about these kinda days are prob 1 in every 3 times I play for the last month and a half. I had to drop back down to 50NL, not because I am losing money, but because my BR has become stagnant due to the amount of coolers against me. Am I supposed to be able to fold those hands? Lets see what people have to say about this because it was a heck of a day.
